The consultation
ESB Networks and EirGrid, in their respective capacities as Distribution System Operator (DSO) and Transmission System Operator (TSO) commenced the process of developing the Joint PR5 DSO/TSO Multi Year Plan for 2024-2028 as required per CRU/20/154. The DSO and TSO propose to use the content relevant to 2024-2027 as detailed in the previously published Joint PR5 DSO/TSO Multi Year Plan for 2023-2027 as the starting point for the Joint PR5 DSO/TSO Multi Year Plan for 2024-2028. EirGrid also took account of updates to programmes such as EirGrid’s Shaping Our Electricity Future, where relevant.
Your views and suggestions
Via this Call for Input Consultation, DSO and TSO invited stakeholders’ views on and input into the proposed approach in advance of the finalisation of the Joint PR5 DSO/TSO Multi Year Plan for 2024-2028 and submission of same to the CRU. The Joint PR5 DSO/TSO Multi Year Plan for 2024-2028 as submitted to the CRU will inform the CRU's Balanced Scorecard 2024 Decision.
