The consultation
ESB Networks and EirGrid in their respective capacities as Transmission Asset Owner (TAO) and Transmission System Operator (TSO) respectively, published a consultation on enhancing the collaboration between the TSO and the TAO with regards to project delivery. This aligned with Section 7.9 of the CRU’s PR5 Regulatory Framework Incentives and Reporting (CRU/20/154) determination.
This public consultation was intended to seek customers, industry participants and other interested parties views on the approach to achieving the objectives of this incentive.
Your views and suggestions
The purpose of the PR5 TSO/TAO joint incentive was to promote efficiencies through enhanced collaboration in network project delivery. Customers, industry participants and other interested parties provided comments on the collaboration activities proposed to achieve this aim as part of the TSO/TAO joint multi-year balanced scorecard for 2023-2027.
