Primary tabs

EirGrid has today published a consultation on the All-Island Resource Adequacy Assessment Methodology and Inputs & Assumptions for Ireland.

This consultation is a collaborative effort between EirGrid and SONI. As such, a concurrent consultation for Northern Ireland is available on the SONI Consultation Portal.

In an effort to improve process efficiency and the experience of stakeholders, the format of this year’s All-Island Resource Adequacy Assessment (AIRAA) consultation has changed. The consultation document outlines areas of focus for the upcoming year and refers to the Methodology and Inputs & Assumptions document recently published as part of the AIRAA 2026-2035. A full description of the approach is provided within the consultation document, EirGrid hopes these changes improve consultation outcomes.

EirGrid welcomes feedback on the questions posed within the consultation document.  Responses should be submitted through the EirGrid Consultation Portal no later than 16:00 on 27th May 2026.
